Elementary level 1 is the first stage of our Elementary course. To join this level, you must have taken our Beginners Level 4 course or have taken a level test with us and been placed at this level.

Natália Fonte Boa

Natália was born and lives in Minas Gerais, Brazil. She holds a degree in Portuguese and English, with a specialization in Applied Linguistics, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics and Portuguese Language at São Paulo State University.

She has over five years of experience teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language to students from diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels, including in-person teaching experience abroad. Her research and teaching are fully focused on PFL, and she is passionate about connecting language and culture in meaningful ways.
