Madalena holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (Portuguese and French Studies) from the University of Algarve and has been teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language for over 15 years.

She has worked with learners of many different nationalities, both in group and individual lessons. In addition to her teaching experience, she has coordinated Portuguese language programmes, trained teachers and developed creative learning resources.

Born in Porto and raised in the Algarve, she enjoys reading, discovering new cultures, spending quality time with family and friends, travelling, and being close to nature. Passionate about languages and cultures, she loves helping her students feel confident and enjoy the process of learning Portuguese.
